out of STOCK. The blade is made of mild steel with a beautiful curly design stamped on the blade with a moon and star at the very tip. The handle is also designed as a dragon. As shipped, this sword will balance ''OK'' for dancing purposes. Although, the sword tends to lean instead of balancing with the edge straight up. The shape of this sword does lend itself to balancing, but it is not actually manufactured to do so. The fact that it is made with a hand guard (that points upwards when balanced) can easily throw it off balance. Because of this, we can not guarantee they will balance with the guard up. However, many dancers do use these swords, they simply unscrew the pommel and turn the guard around so it points down when balanced. By doing this, the sword will balance.
